Gov. Mandago’s Mother laid to rest

The late Mama Salina Lelei who was mother to Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Governor was laid to rest today at her Kuinet home in Soy Sub-County, Uasin Gishu County. The function was graced by many Governors, Mps, CECs, COs MCAs and members of the public.  Deputy President William Ruto, whose message of condolence was read by Kiambu Governor Hon. Waititu, praised the late  as a Christian who advanced the gospel and leaves behind exemplary service to the society. The DP praised the late mother as having touched souls during her life on earth.

Among those in attendance were Governors Ferdinand Waititu (Kiambu), Stanley Kiptis (Baringo), Stephen Sang (Nandi), Prof John Lonyangapuo (West Pokot) and Mutahi Kahiga (Nyeri) attended burial. Deputies Daniel Chemno (Uasin Gishu), Wesley Rotich and a host of MPs both from Rift Valley and Central Kenya were in attendance.

 Governor Mandago thanked everyone for having prayed and stood with the family during trying moments. We send the Governor and his family our most sincere condolences.
