UASIN GISHU COUNTY TO EMPLOY 700 INTERNS

The county government of Uasin Gishu has announced openings for 700 interns with any of these three qualifications: degree(250), Diploma (300) and certificate(150). The internship program will last for 12 months with successful applicants being deployed in any of the county’s ten departments or in other partner entities both in the public and private sector depending on their competencies.

According to the Uasin Gishu County Governor H.E. Jackson Mandago, the internship program, which is now in its second year, is geared towards giving unemployed graduates in Uasin Gishu County an opportunity for practical work experience which will in turn prepare them for an easy transition to the job market. Some of the partners involved in this noble project include: Eldowas, KCC, National Government, RIVATEX and many others.

Interested candidates are asked to register on the county website via the following link: https://jobs.uasingishu.go.ke/internship on or before 27th May, 2019.
